Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Normio website, dashboard, and monitoring features. By using Normio, you agree to these terms.

Last updated: July 17, 2026

Service Overview

Normio is an early-access software product that helps users monitor website legal pages, detect third-party services, compare policy sources, and surface compliance-related changes.

Normio may offer one-time website scans, recurring monitoring subscriptions, email notifications, and related dashboard workflows. The specific features, limits, and prices available to you are the ones shown in the product or checkout flow before you purchase.

The service is provided for informational and workflow support purposes. Normio does not provide legal advice, and use of the service does not create a lawyer-client or advisory relationship.

Accounts and Eligibility

You may use Normio only if you can form a binding agreement and are acting for yourself or for an organization that authorized you to use the service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

You must provide accurate account information and keep it updated. We may suspend or limit access if an account is used unlawfully, deceptively, or in a way that threatens the security or integrity of Normio.

Acceptable Use

You may use Normio only for lawful purposes and only in relation to websites, legal pages, and services that you are authorized to review, manage, or monitor.

You may not use the service to access restricted systems, collect data unlawfully, interfere with third-party infrastructure, reverse engineer the platform beyond what is permitted by law, or upload harmful, fraudulent, or infringing content.

Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds

Some Normio features require payment. Paid products may include a one-time scan of a public website or a recurring subscription for repeated scans, ongoing monitoring, email alerts, and third-party policy-change notifications.

Checkout is handled through the payment provider shown during purchase. A paid scan or subscription becomes available after the payment provider confirms a successful payment, subject to the limits shown in the product or checkout flow.

Billing, cancellation, failed-payment, and refund handling is described in the Refund Policy. If there is a conflict between this section and the Refund Policy, the Refund Policy controls for refund-specific questions.

Customer Content and Permissions

You retain responsibility for the data, URLs, text, and project information you submit to Normio. By using the service, you represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and monitor that content.

You grant Normio the limited rights necessary to host, process, analyze, and display submitted content solely for operating and improving the service.

You should not submit personal data, confidential information, or third-party content unless you are permitted to do so and the submission is appropriate for the compliance workflow you are running.

Monitoring Results and Accuracy

Normio aims to detect policy changes and compliance-relevant issues, but monitoring results may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate. You are responsible for independently reviewing your legal documents, vendor relationships, and compliance decisions.

Alerts, detected vendors, generated comments, and analysis output should be treated as operational assistance rather than final legal conclusions.

Email alerts and third-party policy notifications are generated from available signals and may miss changes, classify changes incorrectly, or arrive after a third-party update has already taken effect.

Early-Access Status

Normio is currently offered in early access. Features, limits, availability, and workflows may change at any time, including without prior notice where reasonably necessary.

We may add, modify, pause, or remove features as the product evolves, and we may suspend access for maintenance, security, or operational reasons.

Intellectual Property

Normio and its website, software, branding, interface, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the Normio team and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly allowed, you may not copy, distribute, modify, sublicense, or create derivative works from the service itself.

Third-Party Services

Normio may rely on payment, hosting, authentication, analytics, infrastructure, communication, and other service providers to operate the product. Third-party services may have their own terms, privacy notices, and operational requirements.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that Normio will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every compliance use case.

You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the output of the service in your business or legal workflows.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Normio will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using Normio at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if required for security, legal, payment, platform integrity, or material breach reasons.

Termination does not affect obligations that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations, confidentiality, ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and dispute or recordkeeping provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of Normio after updated terms become effective means you accept the revised terms.

Contact

Questions about these terms can be directed to the Normio team through the support or account access channel associated with the service.
